About PACE
A friendly neighbour that does its homework.
Our mission
To advance safety, security, and community wellbeing in Winnipeg’s Centennial and Exchange neighbourhoods through advocacy, practical initiatives, and community information and reporting, in partnership with those who live, work, or have strong ties to the area.
Who participates
PACE is for people who live in the neighbourhood, people who work or operate businesses here, and people with strong ties to the area — including property owners, community supporters, and organizational stakeholders.
What PACE does
- Publishes a weekly, plain-language neighbourhood read (PACE Pulse).
- Collects and tracks community concerns privately (PACE Patrol).
- Advances a small number of approved, evidence-informed local priorities (PACE Priorities).
Geography
Approximately bounded by Isabel Street to the west, Higgins Avenue to the north, the Red River to the east, and Notre Dame Avenue to the south. These are working boundaries pending confirmation.
Governance
Placeholder pending approval: PACE’s registered legal name, governance structure, and board details will appear here once confirmed. Becoming a public supporter does not make a person a voting or non-voting corporate member — membership is a separate governance decision.
Contact
General enquiries can be sent through the contact page. For emergencies, call 911. PACE is not an emergency or police reporting service.
Live here, work here, or care about here?
Join PACE to stay informed and help make Centennial and the Exchange safer. Becoming a supporter is free and does not make you a corporate member.
