Privacy notice (draft)

This is a working draft for review. It must be reviewed and approved under applicable Manitoba and federal (PIPEDA) privacy requirements before launch and is not a final legal document.

What we collect

PACE collects only the information needed to operate its programs: supporter details you provide when you join (name, email, your connection to the neighbourhood, and optional interests), and the content of any concern you choose to report (category, approximate location, description, optional date, optional attachment, and optional contact details).

How we use it

Supporter information is used to send communications you have consented to and to understand community support. Concern reports are used for private review, appropriate referral, and identifying neighbourhood patterns. Reporter contact details are used only in relation to that report and are not added to any mailing list.

Consent and email

Email updates are sent only with your explicit, separate consent, and every message includes a working unsubscribe link. Consent evidence is retained.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. A contact route for these requests will be published here before launch.

Security and retention

Private reports, attachments, and contact records are access-controlled and are not publicly available. A retention schedule will be confirmed and published before launch.

Analytics

PACE intends to use privacy-respectful analytics only, with no advertising pixels or third-party trackers installed by default.
